Posted Mon, Sep 7th 2009, 4:56 pm PDTHi,I am not a climber, but this was so interesting to read your yosemite climb. My request to you. Could you write something about rock climbing in general, like how exactly you feel, what you see, what your direct experiences were, how actually those gears work, and if possible more photos of the gears closely. I like to read about adventure sports and know the details, since I myself dont do anything since am scared of adventure. |

Posted Sun, May 24th 2009, 7:01 pm PDTI enjoyed your pictures, Will! I hope you're happy and well. I think of you often.Reply on Sun, Jun 14th 2009, 4:02 pm PDTAnd thus spake Will:Wow, Alice Spradlin! There's a name I haven't heard in a long time. Good to hear from you! |

Posted Tue, May 12th 2009, 1:14 am PDTI half like and half hate Facebook. Overall it's Facebook FTW! (Yes, I realize this is not mathematically logical, but I don't know the exact breakdown of the like:dislike ratio. So there.)Get one already! Reply on Sun, Jun 14th 2009, 4:02 pm PDTAnd thus spake Will:Since when is FTW such a commonplace acronym? The first few times I saw it, I was like, “What is that, WTF spelled backwards?” And before FTW became popular, did anyone ever actually say “blah blah blah for the win”? I think that just sounds weird, man. Just my $0.02. |

Posted Sun, Apr 5th 2009, 12:00 pm PDTHah, I always have the urge to delete my Facebook account (and give society the finger), but I'd lose contact with SO many people. Few people send personal emails these days, and even fewer snail mail...Reply on Tue, Apr 7th 2009, 12:37 am PDTAnd thus spake Will:Yeah, not being on Facebook is becoming more of a handicap all the time now... handicap, hell, it's like a downright disability. “Hey, can I see those pictures from last weekend?” “Sure, they're on Facebook.” “Oh, there's a party tonight? I didn't hear about it.” “That's 'cuz you're not on Facebook.” “You guys went climbing this weekend? I didn't hear...” “Cuz you're not on Facebook!” |

Posted Fri, Feb 13th 2009, 11:07 pm PSTI actually decided to take the GRE and apply to grad school, but just to UCLA (it was late/last minute). Are you on Facebook? That and email are the quickest ways to reach me (aside from texting). Do you ever have spare time these days?I presume that "she" was the girl you were dating? (And are you actually serious about the stalking thing?) Reply on Sun, Mar 8th 2009, 3:39 pm PDTAnd thus spake Will:Awesome... so maybe you'll be around next year too! It turns out I won't be finishing this year after all. I have resisted the Facebook trend for years now, and it's beginning to seem like it's impossible to have a social life without it. But I'm still holding out. |

Posted Sun, Feb 1st 2009, 10:51 am PSTFYI, I have fresh instructions posted up for home made aiders if you ever get the fever again. These a a bit easier to make, and I think they work slightly better.Reply on Fri, Feb 6th 2009, 11:22 pm PSTAnd thus spake Will:Those ruskies look quite nice! I'm especially glad to see that you're selling them, even if on a fairly limited basis. It's about time there was a vendor for these things, no matter how small scale. |
